The 2nd Incirli Cave Culture and Art Festival has begun with great enthusiasm
The festival will continue today with concerts and an awards ceremony

The 2nd Festival, organized in cooperation with Geçitkale-Serdarlı Municipality, Çınarlı Village Headship and Çınarlı Lovers Association. The Incirli Cave Culture and Art Festival kicked off with enthusiastic and colorful events. The opening ceremony was attended by Geçitkale-Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım, the Çınarlı Village Headman, the President of the Çınarlı Lovers Association, and numerous citizens. The festival, which began with folk dance performances, saw a large turnout and great interest. Speaking at the opening, Geçitkale-Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım emphasized that festivals are not only about entertainment but also important organizations where culture is kept alive, solidarity is strengthened, and social unity is reinforced. Kasım said, "Festivals are the most beautiful demonstration of our unity and togetherness. We will continue to protect our culture, pass on our traditions to future generations, and develop our region in social, cultural, and tourism terms. I thank everyone who contributed to this beautiful organization and all our people who did not leave us alone." They used the following expressions.
The Headman of Çınarlı and the President of the Çınarlı Lovers Association also thanked Geçitkale-Serdarlı Municipality and Mayor Halil Kasım for their contribution to the organization of the festival in their speeches.
Following the speeches, plaques were presented to the individuals and institutions that contributed to the festival.
Later, the Geçitkale-Serdarlı Municipality Children's Folk Dance Group, the Gönendere Culture and Art Association, and the Sütlüce Solidarity and Activity Association folk dance groups took the stage.
Throughout the night, there was great enthusiasm in the festival area, and Geçitkale-Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım also added color to the festival by playing mixed folk dances to the accompaniment of Cypriot music with the folk dance groups and the townspeople who participated in the festival.
Later in the evening, the festival excitement reached its peak with concerts by Grup Buğday and Murat Mermer.

The festival will continue today at 8:00 PM with a performance by the Çınarlı Lovers Association Folk Dance Group.
As part of the program, awards will be presented to the winners of the Ertuğrul Poyrazlı Memorial Shooting Tournament and the Hüseyin Palu Memorial Backgammon Tournament. The evening will also feature concerts by Grup Armonila and Gurşiniler, adding color to the second day of the festival.
